Click here for map. University of Bridgeport – From the Merritt Parkway (Route 15), take Exit 52 (South) and bear left to Route 8/25 Connector to Exit 1 (Prospect Street/Myrtle Avenue). At the bottom of the ramp take a right onto Prospect Street to Park Avenue. Take a left on Park Avenue under I-95 and under RR tracks. Proceed South on Park Avenue, approximately one-half mile to the campus. Wheeler Recreation Center is on the right. Branford – Take I-95 north to Exit 55 (Route 1, Branford). Turn left onto Route 1 West. Proceed to second light and turn left onto Windmill Hill Road. At stop sign turn left onto Damascus Road. Entrance to school is on your right at the bottom of the hill. Please do not park in the small lot. Take the circular drive to the large lot on the far side of the building. Hopkins – Hopkins School: From 195 take downtown New Haven Exit Rte. 34. Go to the end of the connector (near the Yale New Haven Hospital Garage). Follow the road you are on to the end. Turn right onto Rte. 10 (Ella Grasso Blvd.). Turn left onto Rte. 34. At the third traffic light turn right onto Forest Rd. Follow Forest Rd. approx. 3/4/mile and Hopkins is on the left. The Athletic center is the building at the top of the driveway.
Orange – High Plains Community Center: From Merritt Parkway take exit 56 (Grassy Hill Rd.). Go straight through light until the second stop sign (7/10 mile). Turn right onto Orange Center Rd. Go 7/10 of a mile, High Plains Community Center is on the left, pool is in the back. Seymour – Seymour High School: Take route 8 to exit 19. At end of ramp turn left. Go straight through the traffic light (past gas station on left and shopping center.) Take left onto Bungay Road. Go up the hill on a winding road. At the stop sign, turn left and then take an immediate right turn. The school is approximately 25 yards up the hill. Take right up driveway to high school. Take left to end of building. Pool is through double doors. Shelton Community Center – Merritt Parkway get off exit 51 and go left onto Rte 108 (Nichols Ave). Follow approx. 4 miles to center of Huntington and go right at the stop sign. Community Center is 200 feet on the right. Park in the rear. Stamford Italian Center, 1620 Newfield Ave. Phone: 322-6941 – Take the Merritt Parkway south from Trumbull to Exit 35, High Ridge Road, Stamford. At the end of the exit, turn right (south) onto High Ridge Road. At the fifth traffic light turn left onto Vine Road (Shell Gas Station). Go to the end of Vine Road and turn left onto Newfield Avenue. The Italian Center is Approx. 1-1/2 miles down on the left, immediately after King & Low-Heywood Thomas School. Stratford YMCA, 3045 Main Street, Phone 375-5844 – Take the Merritt Parkway north from Trumbull. Take Exit 53 South which takes you to Route 110. Take a right at the bottom of the ramp. Continue driving south on Main Street for 4 miles and you will see the YMCA on the right side of the street. Weston – Weston Middle School: Merritt Parkway take exit 42 and turn left onto Rte. 57. Go 3.2 miles. School is on the right, just across from Weston Shopping Center. Enter School complex and take immediate left. Go 8/10 of a mile. Pool is in the Middle school. Woodbridge – Beeches Road School: Merritt Parkway to exit 57 (Rte 34). Go toward New Haven. Pass two lights to Racebrook Rd. Go to rotary and take right onto Rte. 243 (Pulaski Hwy). The road curve and goes down hill. Sign for Beeches Rd and Beeches Rd. School is on the left. Take the second school entrance for pool. Yale – Take the Merritt Parkway to Exit 59. Turn right at the
end of ramp and left onto Whalley Avenue. Go 3.7 miles to York
Street. Turn left onto York. Go to the first light,
and make a left. The Yale-Whitney Gymnasium is straight ahead
on right side. From I-95, take Route 34 exit, turn right at the first light on to York Avenue. Follow the above directions. |
