Registration Information - Fall/Winter 2008-2009

- Fall/Winter: 9/8/08 - 3/1/09 *approximate dates depending on Nutmeg/Regional/Age Group Championships.

- Mandatory Parent Meeting: September 8, 2008

 - First Day of Practice: September 9, 2008

Registration Procedure for Returning Swimmers Only:

Deadline for Fall/Winter registration is 8/18/08;  Please ensure your payment is postmarked by 8/18/08 or a returning swimmer can lose their spot on the team.  Please be advised that there is limited space and there is a wait list and new swimmer tryouts.

Please print out two copies of  the following (link to forms is located below):

1) Pisces membership application (includes fee schedule)

 ***Please be advised that if within the first month of practice your swimmer(s) are switched to a different group, you will be required to pay the difference or will get a refund if the amount is less.***

 2) Informed Consent and Release of Liability form

3) Code of conduct form

 4) Handbook proof of review form (Handbook is available via the link below)

 Fill out one set of each and mail along with payment to:

 Trumbull Pisces, PO Box 245, Trumbull, CT 06611.       Keep one copy of each for your record

Registration Procedure For New Swimmers:

New swimmers must TRYOUT on 9/4/08  at Hillcrest pool from 5-7pm.

New swimmers cannot register through the mail.  Please bring proof of residency and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

New Swimmer Requirements:

• Ages 8/under swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle with proper breathing technique.
• Ages 9-10 swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle and backstroke with proper breathing technique.
• Ages 11/over swimmers must be able to swim 100 yards freestyle and backstroke with proper breathing technique.
